This new style array with the plate design provides for more treatment sessions than coil based arrays. Unlike coil based arrays, these plate arrays allow consistent ion production (amperage) over the life of the ionizing plates. The plates are made from premium 304 stainless steel. Most other arrays are made of 200 series steel which is much more corrosive because it consists of 15% carbon (304 steel is 8% carbon). Unlike traditional disposable arrays, these are designed to utilize the housing, cable and plug components longer with replaceable ionizing plates. In addition to improved performance the replaceable plates provide for a much lower cost per use and lessen the environmental impact. |
